Cars Parked on Roads Will be Towed

By executive order of the Garrard County Judge/ Executive’s office, any cars parked or
abandoned on a county road will be towed at the owner’s expense due to the need for roads
to be plowed and treated in a timely manner. Vehicles left on roads have prevented road
plows and emergency services from reaching several places in the county.

A Declaration of a State of Emergency in Garrard County is in effect. All persons are advised
to stay off the roads at this time.
