Garrard County Emergency Management Agency/CSEPP has had a tremendous amount of calls about the public emergency alert system since last week’s “Boil Water” advisory. The CodeRED system allows Garrard EMA/CSEPP and Blue Grass 911 to rapidly send out phone calls, texts, emails and TTY/TTD messages regarding dangerous situations to the public in Garrard County and the City of Lancaster.

The 911 landline phone list in 2012 is our starting database and has been updated periodically. However, cellular phones and IP based phones, such as Vonage and MagicJack, are not included in this list and must be entered by the owners.

We encourage the public to visit our website and enroll in the CodeRED Weather Warning System. Your information will remain confidential and not shared with anyone. If you have any questions please call us at (859) 792-4786 or email at garrard.eoc@gmail.com
